Vic: Employers call on building unions to make strike a one off

Victoria's building industry employers have called on building unions to make tomorrow's
industry-wide strike a one-off.

The strike, in support of the unions' campaign for a 36-hour week with capped overtime,
is to be repeated every four weeks by the Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union
until it succeeds.

The 3,000-strong Australian Workers' Union has joined the CFMEU in its campaign, with
its members expected to join the strike on the limited number of sites.
