FED: Howard expresses unbounded admiration for troops
Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD has expressed his admiration for Australian troops serving in Iraq.
Speaking at a community morning tea in honour of the Tasmanian troops serving in theconflict, he said the government will do its level best to support them.
Addressing the gathering at Hobart's Anglesea Barracks he said all Australian personnelare safe and sound.
He says the serving men and women belong to a great Australian military tradition,which does everything it can to minimise civilian injuries and deaths.
