FED:Which Julia said no to debates?: Abbott

Opposition Leader TONY ABBOTT has questioned whether it was the "real" JULIA GILLARD
who refused his earlier request for three debates.

The Prime Minister changed her mind yesterday .. saying she wanted to change the style
of her campaign .. and offering to debate Mr ABBOTT this Sunday on the economy.

But MR ABBOTT says he thought "no meant no" when MS GILLARD first declined his offer
.. and she can't change the rules just because she's in trouble.

MS GILLARD's accused MR ABBOTT of avoiding an economic debate because he isn't interested
in the issue.
