April Fools alive and well

April Fool's Day is when nitwits .. numbskulls and pranksters come out of the woodwork
and today's no different.

In Victoria .. Tourism Minister TIM HOLDING announced on morning radio .. plans were
afoot to pinch the Running of the Bulls from its home in Pamplona in northern Spain and
stage it through the city's laneways.

Also in Melbourne .. several residents woke up this morning to find their cars had
been wrapped in cling film in the name of April 1.

Meanwhile .. today's Australian newspaper reported that Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD had
announced that MPs would look after the children of constituents in lieu of a paid parental
leave system.
